
We had a lazy weekend. I am mostly hanging out at home. It’s getting hot here in LA so I spend lots of time outside in the shade or inside in the air-conditioning. I like to lie under the lemon tree and look at the flowers. I hide some of my tennis balls in the flowers, just to have a secret stash. I like the big tall lilies, especially the yellow ones.

Did you know that April is designated Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)? The month is designated to increasing awareness and prevention of cruelty to all types of animals.
Last week we celebrated ASPCA Day (April 10) by wearing orange. This week, I’m announcing some ideas of things you can do all year round in support of the prevention of animal cruelty.

Dogs’ nutritional needs may differ from ours. What we deem as healthy for us might not be sufficient or appropriate for them. To give your dog the best nutrition available you will have to understand their specific needs and how to address them. Taking care of man’s best friend does take a little preparation and know-how.
Your dog needs the essential nutrients to grow, go, and glow. If your dog does not receive proper nutrients it may result in poor health, stunted growth, lethargy and shortened lifespan.
