We are excited about attending the 9th Annual National Criminal Enforcement Association Winter Conference Advanced Criminal Patrol Seminar. The Seminar will be held February 11-15th 2008 at the Sheraton Greensboro Convention Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The goal of the N.C.E.A. is to promote Advanced Criminal Enforcement to all interested members of law enforcement, increase officer safety awareness, promote continuing education within the law enforcement community, and to support the families of law enforcement officers. The National Criminal Enforcement Association began in 1999 as a tribute to slain Police Captain Robbie Bishop. Captain Bishop was one of the original pioneers of Criminal Enforcement and its teachings. He paid the ultimate sacrifice on the side of a busy, cold Georgia Interstate on January 20, 1999. The N.C.E.A. has dedicated its existence to memorializing this hero and the stance he took against the criminal element. His strong belief in educating law enforcement officers in the Patrol Tactics of Advanced Criminal Enforcement are continued today by the N.C.E.A.
