From the Caribbean to Canada, Australia to South Africa, Germany to Washington State, DogWhisperWoman, Rena Murray, has been helping distraught dog owners solve their most vexatious or dangerous dog behavior problems - quickly, easily, effectively, and at very low cost - and helped each become the confident pack leader in right relationship with an obedient, loving pet!
Now Rena Murray has written an e-book especially to accompany the earlier released e-book ‘A Bit of Tender, Love and Care for Dogs’ and I’m very grateful for that. It’s title is: ‘DogWhisperWoman Answers Your Questions’.
The Labrador Retriever has short and smooth shedding coat that is water resistant and is relatively easy to care for. This breed needs to be bathed every three or four months. The coat should be brushed regularly to help keep it clean and shiny. The ears should be cleaned weekly and the nails should be checked monthly to see if they need clipping.
The equipment needed for grooming the Labrador Retriever is the shedding blade, stiff bristle brush, steel comb, nail clipper, ear powder, scissors, and Lanolin coat conditioner.
When you give a dog any command, you have automatically assumed a dominant role and put the dog into a submissive one. Standing is a somewhat dominant canine posture, whereas the Sit and the Down are submissive canine positions, so it is sometimes difficult to teach a naturally submissive puppy to Stand when told. Given the command “Stand,” many dogs will obey, but quickly lower their tails, ears and head - all submissive body language. Be gentle and patient. A perfect puppy Stand has four feet on the ground (that’s the hard part), but it’s also nice to see the head up and the tail wagging. Don’t worry if at first your puppy would rather be a clown than stand still. Eventually they all grow up.
The Kerry Blue Terrier Dog
The Blue Kerry terrier pet dog is one of the most mysterious breeds of terriers. This is because of the fact that even though the breed has been known by the Irish for at leas 150 years, nobody really knows where they came from or how they were first bred.
Various legends are told in order to explain the appearance of the Kerry blue terrier breed. Some say that the peasants bred them for hunting purposes since noblemen monopolized the use of wolfhounds. Thus, noblemen hunted with their wolfhounds while peasants poached with their Kerries.
Mutual trust and understanding are required between the hunter and his dog before a satisfactory retrieving companion is developed. The intelligent Labrador Retriever, brought up as a house pet with the love and understanding of the person who is to take him hunting, requires a minimum of training in order to accomplish the job. Much of this training can be done in the house and a few minutes a day is enough. Such things as blind retrieves and hand signals can become a game in the house with the dog learning to trust his nose as one of the important by-products.
Brickfish has a contest going on until the end of the month, so if you look like your pet be sure to hop over to and enter! Here is the info:

Description: Submit the best photo of your doggie duplicate or feline facsimile and be judged on similarity. If you and your pet have the best matching mugs you could win!
Does your dog suffer from heartworms?
Dog heartworm is a common disease among canines in the United States. Discovered in 1856, the worms mainly live in your dog’s heart and major blood vessels.
The worms, especially on worst cases, seriously impair the heart’s operations. Worse, they could also clog your dog’s blood vessels. These infections result in loss of body weight, chronic cough, dropsy, shortness of breath, chronic heart failure, vision disturbances, and ultimately, death.
Knowledge of pet nutrition is increasing every year and not all experts agree with each other on how certain data should be interpreted. One group supports the ‘scientific assembly theory’ where a diet can be scientifically engineered. Composed of all required nutrients, coming from a range of different sources and on a mathematical level everything your dog needs is present. A second groups theorizes that Mother Nature will always beat science. This school of thought we can call the ‘natural or holistic theory’. Human grade ingredients are used and any meat-by products or artificial additives or preservatives are avoided.

A lot of dogs tend to be attracted by moving vehicles but accidents happen when said dog gets away from their owner to chase a vehicle driving by a person. Our Dogo Argentino is just as happy (or confused?) with a remote controlled transport truck in a safe environment such as her own living room.
