For the sake of keeping us all together and makin g new friends in the pet blogosphere I am going to start talking about my favorite pet blogs once a week (I have SO many).

 I came across a blog recently that immediately captivated me. It made m e laugh out loud and it made me want to love and hug the owner: Wimsey. The bloodhound blog is called Wimsey’s Blog: Diary of a Manhattan Bloodhound.

Now part of me is probably in love with this blog because I am in love with this dog. I spend a lot of time perusing bloodhound pictures online because I love these dogs so much. I have ALWAYS wanted a Bloodhound and I always tell myself that as soon as I get my own house I will be rescuing one.

Anyways, Wimsey is the quintessential hound of Manhattan’s Upper West Side. He has superb taste in everything: gourmet food, stuffed toys, and especially humans. His humans are hound dog afficianados who offer loads of affection, meals, and romps in the city’s parks that last for hours. They often tire themselves out for Wimsey’s sake. As you can see from his absolutely adorable picture, Wimsey is a special speciment, perfect in every form (except for his hearing, he can hear okay but for some reason never listens).

Wimsey is so perfect that he says his humans make jokes because visitors and new friends in the park only talk to him; they aren’t interested in the humans.

I am so in love with Wimsey the blood hound that I plan to ask his humans if I can meet him when I am in NYC this month.

Does that make me a dog stalker…?
