Lori Lebda and Tami Bergeson have hit the nail on the head (in my case anyways) with What Dog Are You? Discovering Your Inner Pooch. This book, fresh from the printing press, lets the reader explore his/her traits, abilities and personality and associate them with a breed of dog.
Based on three quizzes, the “Pooch-onality,” Dapper Dogs,” and “Biscuits or Bones,” a number value is assigned to you. Each quiz results in a specific breed type and those three are your “puppy genetic makeup.”
The following is a paid review for GreatDogSite.com
What is Great Dog Site all about? It’s a place for dog lovers, created by dog lovers. Most of all, it’s a directory where you can find out information on various dog breeds. This is a wonderful way to get acquainted with a specific breed you may be interested in adding to your family to be sure it’s a great fit.
They are also adding new features for site users, such a review section and a wiki where people can contribute to the site. Like they say in their about us, “we can’t own all the dogs we cover. Who better to inform others than you?”
DoggyMentor.com is a website that offers useful information about training your dog. Anyone who has had a puppy before knows that there are times when you just can’t get that little fur ball to do what they should. And anyone who loves dogs knows that training is a great way to build confidence in your dog and strengthen your relationship with your pet. They even have a great article all about the reasons why you should train your dog.
The lovely folks at Sheraton Luxuries sent Baby a fun toy to try out. This ball is the craziest, and funniest toy ever. Baby loves it, and has even figured out how to make it go off on her own. Here is a little video because you have to see the ball in action to see why it’s so fun.
Baby was able to try out a very cute shirt from GlamourDog.com. As you can see, it says “I heart my Mommy”. This is just one of many cute items that they carry on their website, and this particular shirt is one of their own creations. Baby loves it!
Muttropolis is a great website full of products every pet parent would want for their dog or cat. Baby got to try out two fun soft toys and calming aromatherapy spritzer.
As you can see, she fell in love with the strawberry toy (you would think the poor girl had never had a toy before in her life the way she went crazy for it). She has also loved her “Chewnel Pawfume”.
This book comes at a very interesting point in time, with all the recent pet food recalls, and sadly the deaths of many pets, cooking at home for your pet makes good sense. This book introduces the reasons why we may want to cook at home for our pets, as well as how to do it.
We have been cooking for Baby at the recommendation of her vet for several months now. It’s not hard, and it turned her liver problem right around. She has dropped the extra pounds she was carrying around, and she is a lot more playful. You can just see that she feels better on a home cooked diet.
